WHY IN-PERSON

Three things you only get here

The platform delivers world-class structured training. The flagship adds three things software can't replicate.

1
REAL-TIME COACHING
Coach J and staff watch every rep, every jump, every throw. Form corrections happen in the moment — not after you've practiced the wrong way for a week.
2
GROUP TRAINING ENERGY
You're not training alone. You're training next to athletes who push you. The kid in lane 4 just ran a PR — you're going next. That energy doesn't exist on a screen.
3
FULL EVENT ACCESS
Track, hurdles, blocks, pits, throwing implements, plyo boxes, weight room. Everything an athlete needs to train every event — on-site, with coaches who teach all of it.
THE TRAINING YEAR

Periodized like college and pro programs

Track Academy isn't a camp. It's a year-round program that builds toward your competitive season — same structure used at the Olympic level, scaled for high school and adult athletes.

1
SUMMER FOUNDATION
June – August · Build the Base
When everyone else is taking the summer off, our athletes are doing the work that wins seasons in March. Biomechanics, aerobic base, general strength. No high-intensity speed work yet — that's the wrong stimulus for this time of year. Volume builds, mechanics get fixed, the engine gets bigger. Athletes who do summer foundation walk into fall fitter than the kids who didn't.
2
FALL / WINTER GENERAL PREP
September – December · Develop the Engine
For most schools this is the off-season — football, soccer, cross country, basketball. We work around it. Athletes already in another sport do 1–2 RSP sessions a week to maintain mechanics and add specific strength. Athletes who aren't in another sport train 3–4 days. Strength training is a non-negotiable in this phase. Track sprinters who don't lift are leaving 0.2 seconds on the table in their 100m.
3
SPECIFIC PREP
January – February · Sharpen for the Season
School track starts around now. We adjust. Athletes train their school workouts plus 1–2 RSP sessions for the work their school coach can't get to — race-pace intervals, event-specific drills, video review. This is where the work compounds. The form fixed in summer, the strength built in fall — all of it shows up in February times.
4
IN-SEASON / COMPETITION
March – May · Race & Peak
During the season, athletes mostly train with their school teams — we don't compete with school programs, we support them. RSP becomes the supplemental layer: form work, taper management, race strategy, recovery. State-qualifying athletes get individualized peak plans for the meet that matters. This is the phase where the year's work shows up on the clock.

Track Academy is led directly by Coach J alongside RSP's certified coaching staff — every coach trained in the same Olympic-level methodology.

QUESTIONS

The things parents actually ask

If you don't see your question here, contact us — happy to answer.

How often does Track Academy meet? +
Our group sessions run Monday–Thursday and Saturday mornings. Athletes typically attend 2–3 sessions a week depending on their training phase, school sport season, and goals. Schedule is built around your school year and other commitments — we work around football, soccer, basketball seasons, not against them.
What's the difference between Track Academy and private 1-on-1 training? +
Track Academy is group training — energy of training with peers, structured event-specific work, less individual cost per session. Private 1-on-1 is direct attention from Coach J or staff for athletes with very specific goals (combine prep, college recruiting, elite-level work). Many athletes do both: Track Academy for the volume, privates for the targeted work.
Do you compete against my school's track program? +
No — we support school programs, not replace them. During your school's competitive season, athletes mostly train with their school team and use RSP for the supplemental work (form, strength, race-day prep) the school coach can't get to. Off-season is when we do the most volume with you.
I'm not in DFW — can I still train with you? +
Track Academy In-Person is at our Carrollton flagship in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex — if you're not within driving distance, this specific program isn't for you. Two options: (1) Track Academy Online ($39/mo) delivers the same Olympic-level methodology through weekly group video sessions you can join from anywhere. (2) Search for an RSP-certified coach in your area — independent coaches around the country who have completed our certification and use the RSP methodology with their athletes.
What's the cost? +
Track Academy pricing varies by training frequency (2-day, 3-day, unlimited) and length of enrollment. We start with a free assessment session — you meet Coach J, we evaluate where your athlete is, and we build a recommendation. Book the assessment to get the full pricing breakdown.
